What is The Travel Trust Association (TTA)?
The Travel Trust Association (TTA) is a UK travel trade association that guarantees 100% financial protection to consumers, manages ring-fenced trust accounts, and helps independent travel agents and tour operators comply with industry regulations. Established in 1993, it operates as part of The Travel Network Group.
How Customer Protection Works
• Ring-fenced funds: Every penny paid to a TTA member goes directly into an independent trust account.
• No unauthorized access: Money stays locked in the trust account and cannot be touched by the business until suppliers are paid or the holiday is completed.
• Failure recovery: If a TTA member goes out of business, the TTA steps in to arrange completion of the holiday or issues a full refund of money paid.

• Regulatory compliance: Helps members meet Package Travel Regulations and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) ATOL rules.
